Background For This Dancing Man Silver Coin:

On August 15, 1945 a young man celebrated the End of World War II by dancing exuberantly in the streets of Sydney, Australia.  This young man’s unabashed and spontaneous movements were recorded in a newsreel shown around the world and the young man came to be known as the “Dancing Man.”  His uninhibited and unadulterated expression of joy symbolized what was being felt by millions!!!

Now, through the use of the latest technology, the mint has strung together in sequence 26 images from the Dancing Man newsreel on this unique and magnificent coin capturing the feeling that millions felt at the End of World War II.

WHAT A FEELING!!!

Now you too can experience that glorious feeling by owning and viewing this fabulous coin — and that is why it may well be the quintessential coin commemorating the End of World War II.
