Program Information:

 The President of the United States signed Public Law 110-357 into law on October 8, 2008.  Noteworthy, this law  requires the Secretary of the Treasury to mint and issue silver dollar coins in commemoration of the legacy of the U.S. Army Infantry and establishment of the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center.

Also, the law authorized surcharges from the sale of these coins to be paid to the National Infantry Foundation.
